Families that live in the Colonias located on State Highway 359 of Webb County, Texas are invited to participate in the Creciendo Juntos Sembrando Comunidad Food and Nutrition Program Food Distribution at the Texas A&M University Colonias Program. The event is sponsored by the Area Health Education Center, the LULAC Institute, Inc. and No Kid Hungry campaign to address food insecurity. Those that attend will receive a food bag, nutritional education, health resources, and assistance in enrolling in state and government food programs.
